Since 2015 when Knowledge Management Services was established, our team has been developing the vision, implementation plan, governance, training, and eventual roll out of a new enterprise content management system (ECMS). I have contributed by:

  • Leading both strategic and tactical efforts to create frameworks for ECMS governance, implementation, and training.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, and improvement of processes and practices enterprise wide.
  • Networking with all areas of the business to communicate our project vision and gain buy-in and support.
  • Leading projects to plan, build, and maintain team, collaboration, and intranet sites including:
    • Eliciting customer needs and requirements.
    • Creating a long-term schedule and setting goals/milestones for an unfamiliar subject area.
    • Working independently and self-regulated to meet those project milestones.
    • Communicating progress status to our steering committee and upper management.
    • Organize large amounts of data into useable, actionable pieces of information.
    • Building SharePoint sites that meet the agreed upon requirements.
    • Training site managers to become power users.
    • Answering questions and troubleshooting problems as the SharePoint 2013 subject matter expert.
    • Developing the necessary SharePoint and web development expertise to implement custom code solutions (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) when SharePoint out of the box functionality does not meet project requirements.
